So far I really like it! Sprayed omni single stage on the crx hood, and dbc base on the fender.
Out with the old,
In with the new
Attachments:October 25, 2013 at 10:16 am #45092Well hot damn Jack,I wish you well with your new system :cheers If I was using dbc I would use concept 2021 for bigger jobs and 2042 for smaller ones. You can use dcx61 hardener or the faster one to speed things up,2021 is a pretty versatile clear that works in any booth.I would use k38 for primer, dont bother with k36.Good luck 😉
October 25, 2013 at 2:56 pm #45094Jayson, Im curious why you say to skip K36. I tried to get some K38 the last time I made an order and they were backordered on it. So I got the K36 instead. Seemed to work ok, but was a bit thinner.
October 25, 2013 at 6:00 pm #45096Looks good. Hope you have some more tints hiding somewhere
They’ll probably set you up with the DAS primers and sealers, which arent a bad product for everyday work.
2042 can be a little yellow at times. dc3000 and 4000 are probably gonna be your work horse clears. but as jay said 2021 is a nice overall clear and can be speed up with some acceleratorOctober 25, 2013 at 8:58 pm #45097well i dont know why the kid came up as anonymous but we are pretty happy with the way the stuff sprays time will tell …. i sure like not having as many toners ta contend with plus the smaller machine gives me a place ta set my beer :cheers i think we made a step in the right direction for the shop an for the future
