We started using the Total compound from Farecla and it works real good. You can compound and glaze with the same material just switch pads.I just thought I would pass it along.

Good stuff. You can also use it like a hand glaze – apply it with a damp microfiber cloth, let it dry a bit, hand buff it off with a clean microfiber cloth.

I believe Norton has a similar system too. (just switching pads)

Norton may have something similar, but Farecla compounds are the bomb diggity. I haven’t run into anyone who’s tried them who does anything but rave about them. Their G3 is an excellent “extra cut” compound.

I don’t suppose they have a “best one”, as they are different for different purposes, users or whatever.

G3 is an extra cut compound, the G4 comes after, like a swirl remover. Total you use by changing pads… thay all have their time & place I suppose.
