Today I had my first comeback with ppg. It was a bumper job. Raw plastic. Im certified with ppg and used one choice 123 to prep it . Paint is practically falling off. Ppg rep seen it and does agree it was prepped right and they will waranty it. So heres my next question. Since its my first waranty issue I have came across. Should I try and get r and I and strip time included in this? Of course I think thats the fairest way to settle it. Or should I just be happy im not redoing it for complete nil….

I have found that sometimes ordering a new bumper is a much easier, better and cheaper way of doing a bumper job instead of trying to strip it. It usually happens that the paint wants to stick in all the tight spots and you end up spending alot more time on it. Just my opinion. 😉

Charge R+I and strip or a new bumper. Dont worry there making enough money off of you.
