I figured I would put a little video together of spraying a silver metallic in water. Not the best video angle but what the heck. First video is basecoat the second is my first coat of clear.

Great video…what was the second gun loaded with in the first video?

    Thanks!

Waterborne blender. A mixture of 2090 and 20% 2040. Numbers won’t mean much if you don’t spray Cromax.

I had to break out the RP just for Bondo! 😉 My Iwata is probably mad at me now

    Pretty neat Vids.
Interesting back and fourth Method you use there on Shooting Clear.
Never seen it done like that.
I’ve always been a stripe layer

I just have a heck of an overlap. Probably around 80%. Helps get really even coverage. I have always sprayed with alot of overlap so it is easier for me.

Great vids. Thanks for posting them.

Do we need those waterborne blenders, like with R-M or Glasurint lines?

    Or any lines?

And so it should be – shame on you 😉

I thought things were tight in my booth, but at least I don’t have to lean against the walls. Great vids though – thanks for sharing.

So, it is necessary to use “waterborne blender” when blending panels with waterborne BC?
