So I got a door and a few fenders hanging in primer and just about ready for paint.

They have been hanging for a few weeks in the garage. People just can’t keep their hands off the primer. Somebody always has to touch or run their hand across a panel.

With that said, Is their a Wax and Grease Remover that I can use that I don’t have to wash off with water and will not cause problems if I decide to spray another layer of 2k primer or base coat?

    Thanks!

if it’s just fingerprints you can just use an alcohol based cleaner. 900 will work too but it’s heavier for removing wax.

Thanks. Can you name something specific for an alcohol based cleaner?

I use sherwin willams plastic/antistatic cleaner, sorry don’t know the number. Any product lines antistatic final wipe is usually alcohol based. Any wax & silicone remover will work fine too, acry-solve is a good one.
