Its been a bit on-and-off but maybe some of you recall me asking about the cheapest and simplest way to repaint my old Cadillac Fleetwood?

Anyway, I ended up using a 2K high build, a HS poly basecoat and a 1K acrylic lacquer.

The finish isn’t perfect but considering its the first car I painted in about 4 years, it was done mostly outside on a gravel drive (basecoat and clear done in the household garage) I think it turned out OK.

I have plenty of other paint and body projects coming up so you’ll be hearing from me again…

Thats what matters most, that you like it.
It really looks wet and slick.
