    Sup Everyone,

    Please post down what guns you use for each specific job (ex: primer, base coats, clears).

    I use:

    Base coats: Iwata LPH-400 w/ 1.3 orange cap.
    Clear coats: SATA Jet Digital 2000 RP w/ 1.4 cap
    Primers: Non-brand name HVLP gun w/ 1.8 cap.

    What about you guys?

    Base: Iwata WB400 WBX gold cap 1.3

    Clear: Iwata WB400 WB2 blue cap 1.3

    Primer: Devilbiss PRi 1.8

    Primer Iwata LPH440 1.6
    Sealer Iwata W-400lv 1.4 or LPH-400 1.4
    Basecoat Sata 3000 hvlp 1.4HC and Tekna 1.4
    Clearcoat Sata 3000 RP 1.2 or 1.3(depends on weather) and sometimes Iwata W-400lv 1.3

    Primer: SATAjet 100 BF HVLP 1.7
    Sealer: SATAJet 3000 HVLP 1.4
    Base: SATAjet 3000 HVLP Digital 1.3
    Clear: SATAjet 3000 RP Digital 1.3
    All guns used with 3M PPS cups.

    I thinks it’s obvious I am partial to SATA :rock

    Primer-Eminent compliant gun with a 1.5(made in holland)these guns are tough as sh@t,we bought 4 of them in 1987 and replaced them last year.

    Sealer=Devilbiss plus with a 1.4

    WB basecoat=sata 3000 hvlp with a 1.4HC

    Single Stage=first gen Sata rp with a 1.4

    Clear=Sata rp 3000 with a 1.4

    Solvent base=Devilbiss plus with a 1.4 or first gen sata rp 1.4

    base: lph400 / orange 1.4
    clear: sata 3000rp 1.4 / iwata lph400 1.4
    touchup guns: lph80 1.0 / sata minijet 3000 1.0

    Primer: War-Wick 878H 2.0
    Base metallics: Sata NR2000 1.4
    Base solids: Iwata LPH400 1.4 silver cap
    Clear: Iwata LPH400 and Sata NR2000
    Backup gun: Sata RP 1.4
    Mini gun: Iwata LPH80 1.2 and a few CAT mini guns
    Useless junk: Sharpe Finex

    Primer/sealer – W400 LV2 with 1.3, 1.4 or 1.8 depending on application.
    Or Devilbiss PRI 1.6
    Basecoat – Iwata W400 WBX 1.3
    Clearcoat – Iwata WS400 1.3 Clear
    Mini gun – Iwata LPH80 1.2 E4

    Poly – Devilbiss FLG3 (1.8 – 2.2 Tip)

    Primer – Sharpe SGF98 1.5 Tip, Devilbiss FLG3 1.8 Tip

    Sealer – Devilbiss CVI HVLP 1.4 Tip, Sharpe T1-CG 1.4 tip

    Base – Sharpe SGF 98 1.4 Tip (I’ve tried many different base guns, and I just like the pattern on this POS.)

    Clear – Iwata LPH400, Devilbiss CVI Trans-Tech 1.4, Sata RP 1.3

    Worthless POS: Devilbiss Starterline. (Biggest waste of money ever.)

    Primer: HD eco roller with 5/8 nap
    Sealer: Whats that :blush:
    Base: Solids- HD eco roller 3/8 nap
    Metallic- Lowes Kobalt roller 1/8 nap
    Clear: Lowes Kobalt roller 3/4 nap for 1 coat application

    Sealer – DeVilbiss GTI 1.3

    Base – Sata 3000 WSB 1.3

    Clear – Sata 3000 RP 1.3

    gophers – 22. cal (great for jammin)

    :squirrels, groundbirds, and even bear – 22. cal/ 20 gauge over under (nice overall gun)

    :deer – savage 110 (good for bigger jobs)

    :ducks – Remington 870 (nice wide pattern and works with water born)

    :whistle:

    All round favorite – crossbow :pcorn: (really quiet for night shooting) 😉

    I want a double barrel paint gun :stoned

    …but could you handle a double barrel paint gun, it has a lot of kick when you pull the trigger. :lol1
