Hi everyone, what is the best way to refinish a porsche hood? I has a couple of stone chips and I feather them out but did not go to metal. Should I prime the stone chips I feathered out or can I get away by putting sealer and paint. I am using dupont cromax pro. I suggested to my prepman that he should prime but somebody said it is not good to put too much product on it. As a painter, I say prime and block the area where paint have been feathered, then seal and paint. What do you think?

well too late for primer, I spotted in the spot with sealer ( dupont 42440) and then seal the whole hood when the spot dries. I notice the feathered areas, should I block the area with 800 and the re-seal the whole thing? Can I put on too much sealer that there would be a problem with putting on cromax pro water base? I am new to the water.
