Well, just thought I would give a quick update.

I quit my Job before Christmas and enjoyed a week or so to relax. I explained my issue(s) to my boss and left on very good terms. I accepted a job at a small GM dealer outside the city (Airdrie Motors), I knew the Manager, so it was easy to slide in there. There is 1 other bodyman and a painter. The other bodyman and I get along great and share similar attitudes and work ethics. The shop is small (fits 5-6 cars comfortably). The shop isn’t that busy, but there is just enough work to keep me going. The best thing is that it is really low stress. It has its issues (just like any shop) but I see a lot of potential for this to work well for me. :cheer:

The shop uses Autowave, I look forward to giving it a shot at some point. It better be damn good with all the Pimping that Jayson does for it 😉

We just switched to autowave, so far so good. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it once you have a chance to use it.
Glad to hear you like your new shop.

Thanks. Hope the new job keeps going well for you. I’m still getting use to the GMs, I have mixed feelings about how they’re put together, but in all honesty, no better or worse than anything else.

As a rule whenever I have stress, I like to find the source of the stress and then break his legs.:clappy

Its a good idea in theory; however, I am not a big guy…maybe 130 lbs…

My thoughts have always been that if you can’t change others, then you can certainly change your environment or yourself. In big city with ample job opportunities its just easier to move on 😉

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
