    Hey everyone! :welc

I’ll be painting my bumper next week. I have 2 clears:

    Nason 465 with med. reducer
    Lesonal ProAir with fast hardener

I’ll be using R-M Diamont basecoat. Temperatures these days range about 66-80F (18-27C).
I like the Lesonal better since its very user friendly, easier to spray and kinda hard to get runs with it.
Do you guys think I could get away with spraying Lesonal with fast hardener? Or would you use Nason.
Nason is supposed to be a “Glamor” (ie: better) better.

The lesonal is a better clear. For just a bumper you could get away with the fast, I would try to paint it when it’s below 75 degrees though.

You could just go buy a quart of slow hardener

Great! I’ll use the Lesonal. Most likely I’ll be painting at night, its about 62 now so I’ll be fine.
Just looked at the TDS and it mentions: “For larger vehicles and higher temperatures, 10% Lesonal reducer can be added to improve flow and leveling”.

I have half quart of a universal urethane reducer left, I’ll use that if needed.

    Thanks for reply! :rock
