i have just built a new booth recently and used ply wood on the walls, sealed all the seams with silicone and painted the walls bright white. Poured 4 inches of cement and have the floor sloped to the front for when i want to wash out the bay. I have heard that carpet works well on the floor and thinking about trying that out too.

Not bad at all.Its air tight and designed with proper lighting, air flow ,filters and temperature the same as a propoer booth would have.I have found that with a good prepper and a good painter it doesnt really matter where you paint. I have done some high end paint jobs on the shop floor.
