Just wondering how many people are I-CAR certified? I just became Platnium a few months ago…..
AnonymousJuly 31, 2008 at 3:18 pm #11121I’ve never had the chance to go to an I-Car course, I’d like to go. To simply answer your question I am not. How did you find the courses? I hear a lot of people complaining about them not being as beneficial as they once were. Did you get much out of them??

Some of those probably count for I-Car points.

August 1, 2008 at 5:38 am #11132workingf for a dealer shop im required to have all the certifications icar ase dupont gm to name but a few ..some of it is very helpful and some not it all depends on the person and how they aply themselves and there skills:silly: :silly: :silly: :silly: B)
AnonymousAugust 1, 2008 at 5:43 am #11133I think that’s a good point, the person being trained and how receptive they are to it is a huge factor with any training. Theirs a big DRP shop around the corner from us and they are all forced to go for i-car training to keep the shop image up first and foremost. I would doubt training counts for much with some of the techs, I don’t think most of them want to be their.

I know from attending previous classes, there is some process *you* have to complete to get the points – something like wait 45, submit your certificate to I-Car & pay them some money – then you get your points.
