those arent bad at all. the biggest issue was the solvents trapped in the last 2.
looks like you have some more sanding to do. you want them completely gone before you respray or else you will still see them. What grit did you sand with?

its actually on my buddys car lol

i was on holiday last week so he resanded the car with 800 and left the runs for me to do…

my plan of attack is 320dry on the runs if i break through spray some sealer over then paint so it dosent boil up when applying the base ….al of the solvent pop has been sanded out and left open for around a week …back in paint for the weekend i hope lol

btw andy i didnt look at the data sheet just went with the paint suppliers words …. mix 2-1 mix ……..BUT I HAVE ONLY MYSELF TO BLAME

playing it safe this time 2 coats of base and max meyer clear lol as i know i can lay that down :exci

    Can’t blame you mate.

The DeBeer is obviously by far the better clear, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best one for the job. Familiarity with a product stands for a lot, so you’re often much better off going with one that you know well, rather than a potentially better one that you know nothing about 🙂
… got offered a rental of a £29000 booth just installed i thought great we will go for that

    BAD IDEA …
hey fellas, i now this is a old post but im a newbie so just thought id share a bit of info too.

when i worked at my old place they had 2 new booths installed, costing the governor £100,000 for the pair all in all, and the first 10 jobs or so were filthy with rubbish in the paint. and the first job alone was completely smothered from tip to tip with grit and all sorts. but once the new set-up had settled in and cleared all the airways everything was fine so that might explain the crud in your first job tommy 😉

and just a quick thank you to andy t and tommy for all the extra info discussed. very useful. and i definitely agree with the ‘familiarity is key’ comment andy 😉
