Prices… some folks shop around a lot and don’t care how it’s done
just as long as you’re cheaper. It’s like shopping for shoes, where
vender A has it for $39.99 and vender B has it on sale for $29.99.
Well.. you gotta explain that $hit aint like that.OK, what kind of fee does this command…I do not want to destroy the economy for people who do this for a living, nor do I want to devalue my ability to earn extra income? What is a fair price?
costs vary from place to place. you’d need to survey your area. next time get an estimate from a couple local shops to find the market your in. :pcorn:
Yup, you do want to know what others around you are charging and why.
Marketing…this is a forum all its own. Don’t worry about destroying
anything just concentrate on doing good work and the rest should follow.Also consider other up-sales. Minor or major detailing services can be good.
Head lights restoration (reclear), polish, wash/wax, interior shampoo, etc.i often get customers who say to me the guy down the street is able to do it for less so i always say something like this “if your hungry, you can buy a hot dog for a dollar or go to a restaurant and have a meal for 20 dollars, either way youll satisfy your hunger, but the hot dog that cost a dollar may make you sick after wards.”

theres a hot dog truck across the street from me and a lot of my customers are foreigners who wouldn’t ever eat from off a food truck so it makes a lot of sense to them and they usually get my point and go ahead and leave me the keys lol it works!
