    thanks i found the air compressor for 200$ on craigslist
    i would look around tho…

    i just bought
    *solvent
    *gun cleaner
    *box of tack clothes
    *box of body napkins
    *masking paper small roll of 18×180 feet think i might need more??
    should i buy at home depot save more money this way?

    i still need to set up my air lines hopefully ill get this done 2morow and set up my pcv plastic paint booth…

    yes i looked at sharpe website good info on how to run pipes

    and im getting a DA from harbor

    i also want to pick up a mig welder or a spot welder to do a front radiator support… might come in handy later..

    also want to pick up a uni spotter at harbor frieght…

    and the quater glass needs to be taken off so it might take a few more hours for that.

    is that just for estimate time?

    do you have a diagram for it? (rear quaterpanel and rear tail light area)

    OK fixed the link problem.

    i havent bought the car yet im still thinking if i should.
    i tried to talking him to 200$ dollars for the car explained the damages to him and what i have to get done to fix it.
    he didnt want to take the offer because the money he spent on the re built motor.

    ill keep on pushing him for 200$. if not ill prob just end up saving up more to get one in better condition.

    Im also in a refinishing class its almost my 1yr and a half doing work.
    i learned alot and i wouldnt mind spending time on this quater panel for my learning journey lol.
    ive never done a quater panel replacement nor using the alingment machine.
    maybe i could learn alot this way. take it to the next level.

    i looked up at sharpe website it had a diagram on how i should set up my lines.

    ok.

    how do you guys usually remove quater windows like this?

    i looked in the manual it said to use a string and run it under the weatherstriping without damaging the molding.

    i saw this tool similar to HF windshield removal

    another question

    i have the orginal service manual of the car
    the book dosnt show where the spot welds are at.

    if anyone one can post a diagram of the quater panel stucture
    of a 89-94 nissan 240sx fastback 3dr

    that would help me out alot thanks

    this is the last time i will be doing custom body work on my own car.unless i get paid for it lol.

    i think all the hours i put on molding the rear quater panels i could of just replaced the whole metal quater panel [img]http://www.refinishnetwork.com/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/fender_mold.jpeg[/img]

    i actually fixed a quater panel from the same type
    but i didnt like how it came out it didnt look perfect
    so i went ahead and did overfenders molded it to the body.
