I have two snap-on da palm sanders. They work great and are little and light. They are on the pricey side but have lasted for years with no oiling. I don’t use them that much anymore because i switched to the newer 3m palm sander that has the vacuum bag. It has the short 3/16 throw for color sanding. With this da to work correctly you have to buy the correct hokit one paper with the holes in it. Probably not and an option for you but it really is awesome imho.

House of Kolor has a great black…BC25.It matches dodge code px8 which is pretty much straight autowave toner 245. Plus its way cheaper. Some where around 28 for a quart. Then you can buy HOK UC 35 in a quart which is HOK clear. It cost about 35 a quart. And a pint of hardner for 25, and a quart of reducer for 16. So thats about a hundred bucks and ur done. That’s minus a primer. There’s are cheap in small quantity. Just an option.

Well plan on lots of hours…..a lot. Also plan on spending thousands of dollars. It would be your best bet to follow “ding’s” advice.

Since talking tekna here i have a question. The 909 air cap or the 7e7 air cap with a 1.4 for Autowave? Which one? Why? The 909 seems to have a little bigger fan. And since you have to back up so high for orientaion im not sure.Thank you.
