i hear yah on the the no buff, the first shoot i did the right quarter was rapped with nibbs (thats probably cause i had the booth doors open into the prep station, not enogh room in the booth to paint the doors off so i could get the jams) guess thats what i get for trying to be diligent about it.
you know i dont care too much for 5335 (it tends to run on me) 5300 i love, but what do i know, i cant even spray matt black.
Wow, its wierd hereing some one ask if you blend color before or after clear not making fun, just new to me
yeah, if your going with bc/cc be sure to lay the clear as if you wanted it glossy otherwise it just ends up more of a foggy look. :stoned

Im using dp26 3:1:1:1. Sc90/sc25 depending on the tone, dh 57 and never really venture hotter than ur50, lays out smooth and no dry edges, works for me anyway
usually if i can catch the little F#C#ER still moving after i taped the bastard out, ill murder that little shit dwelller by dropping it in a small pool of solvent or if im having a really stressfull week ill wind down a pair of vice grips to hold it in place while i stick the creature full of holes untill it stops moving. havent happend too me yest but this guys daughter in ky told me her dad had stray cats walking through his hood job, pretty sure i woulda strung it up and beat it with a louisville of and on for a couple hours. :deadhorse :hunt :rock :chair
i use grab bars on the ceiling of the booth. im barely 6″ but even still it sucks painting a 3500 hood. god it must suck to be a short person huh? not to be a dick :cheers
are you yourself doing the job (experienced?) or are you leting a shop take it on?
see if one of our kids eff up on a rub its my fault for letting the imperfection happen in the first place, hope your tag along has a little more respect. but dont you love how smooth repaints allways look.
what system are you using now?
