hold it rite there, i dont believe ive heard any one mention the accuspray line. i used to be a sata guy, then found my self stuck using an develbiss gti, i mean the gti is a great gun if you like pounding on material,( turned the gti turd into my sealer gun) i think shes starting to die though. and as for the plus for clear its not a bad option but again brings the point of pounding on more material than i like to. bot back to the gem of this reply. the accuspray isaac, i picked this gun up for around 450 bucks when my basf rep learned i was in the market for a new gun, one of my favorite qualities about this gun is i can change the needle just by unscrewing in while i leave the spring and tension nob in place, why do i like this? because for minimal cost i have a bs/cc gun all in one, by just changing caps and yes im aware the tekna can do the same but if you ask me this gun is no different from the gti, just a new name so sata guys who for some reason like to pay for a name will give it a try(exact words from the develbiss sales person who pitched me the gun) this loser actually tried showing me its “great” clear coat capabilities on the masking of a car i had half masked for a tiny prime, i about back handed this guy as our detailer would have me for such negligence, but the flashy new name doesn’t make up for poor quality. the iwata isn’t a bad gun either, im actually thinking of picking up the w400 for my clear coat application. so if you want sata performance for the tekna price go with the isaac or at least demo it. i spray this gun at around 17psi, and you can say good bye to tiger stripes with the isaac as well.
and sorry to all the loyal develbiss fans i just havent had much luck with this brand or its answer to sata, and as for the sata fans i say sorry as well,
TRY THE ISAAC
