Yeah 1.4 is what ya want, Iwata LPH400 with a LV cap, LVX maybe, atomizes metallic a little better (almost preference)I would recommend, I like the Iwatas over the satas just bc of the lower pressure used to spray. Your only at 16 at the inlet. Where are you ? What’s your weather ? Regardless ur50 is golden unless its real hot where you are, medium wet coats. Flash shouldn’t be more than 3-5 minutes, unless like u said u were just applying to much product. You said mid coat, was your first color a tri coat ?

What issue did you run into recoating to quik ? have you used the base with basecoat hardner or no ??
Yes you will love diamont and will eventually say that’s all youll ever spray again. Now that’s just my sales side coming out. We’ve sold BASF products for 30 years and feel that we supply the best products on the market. You seem like you know what your found when it comes to spraying so I can assure you that you’ll have success with diamont, wait till you shoot Onyx sometime ! When you say you’ll have to just be patient in between coats, were your flash times faster with dupont ?
