Well,it isn’t rp, sorry. 1.4. I do like the gun, don’t get me wrong. But damn, my Iwata can glass it out! I demoed an rp and the hvlp on the same car, and there really wasn’t too much of a diff.

Some may say their stance is a little anal, but I have always believed Toyota to be on top of their game. Toyota’s training programs are the only ones I’d really be interested in attending.
I’ve got four ase certs, and I think they’re worthless! Look good on a resume or on a wall, that’s about it.

Hey- are you using the green 233 tape? The back of that tape is pretty freakin’ slick- maybe the foam tape isn’t sticking to it?Holy Crap!:ohmy: Now that was scary! That DeWalt sure as heck didn’t sound like it was at 1800rpm!
New to the forum- Hello! I’ve had great success with the “DART” tape (gotta love some of the acronyms in this industry!). Something I’ve noticed- the adhesive seems to have a “shelf life”. Out of the box, once applied, needs to be utilized within a couple of hours. If I mask up at the end of the day and come in in the morning, often it will have pulled away.
