Yes I have the hv30 cap I’ll give it a go what tip are you use 1.3 or 1.4?
2dig I have a tekna prolite I’m going to give it a shot with base and I’ll let you know
I also went back to my nr2000 from the 4000 hvlp same thing as you jayson it has a tone of miles but still sprays awesome

Is Limco 4100 the fast clear
I spray the rm low voc solvent and if you use the right ground coat the Reds cover great
What gun where you using for clear before? 2dig
Morning 2dig with a slower drying clear I had a little solvent pop I just dialed in the fluid a bit but most of the time I’m using a production clear so its setting up a lot faster. The 5000 does lay on the material so I would just back off the wet coats to maybe a medium wet coat and see what happens

Good to hear you like it 2dig, I absolutely love it it’s worth every penny,I’m just demoing a 5000 hvlp and it’s great lays the metallics down nice
I’m using DC5800 and low Voc solvent
