I think any thing you do will be like putting clean bandage on top of the old one on the wound. just think of it like you never seen it before and someone want you to fix the problem, just do what you think is right and Good Luck!!!

IMHO is 7 business days, you just finish the car and deliver it as agreed, I will not give the car if no money is exchanged, but them again I might be wrong, I hope some one with more expertise in the matter will show up and provide us with his/their expert opinion :cens :cheers

Thank you Ben, I do use a plastic welding kit and it works good for repairing tears and filling holes as well as repairing mounting holes but there is always the need for filler, in the past always used the filler from 3M which it has worked for me but this guy put the bug on me. I’ll ask my supplier for the 3M product. Once again Thanks for your imput 😉 :cheers

If you previously primed the panel sand it until you see the primer, if not untill you hit the base coat assuming the base was not disturbed by the water. If the blended panel was not affected by the water just hit it with 600 and reblend. If you use common sense you will know when to stop sanding, work itself will show you. Good luck 😉 :cheers

If it was me I’ll go 180, then 220, then 320 and primer, then 600 only then I ‘ll spray the base and the clear, some will say you can skip a step or two, if you want it to come out right that’s what should be done
