Maybe a little late on this one, but I use PPG Flex and Flat, comes in quarts. Goes on gloss but as it flashes looses the gloss and goes flat. The gloss retention can be changed by the speed of the reducer used. Used it for an older Benz with flat covers and flares.

I used to use wool all the time. Since switching to foam a few years back I will never go back to wool. I get a faster cut with foam and an overall better looks with less steps. Once big thing is when I do black I dont have to come back and polish it after buffing. I used to always have to polish after wool on black.

Ha! Jimmo, that’s the norm toward the end of the day. Tell her I’m not quite done yet and it will still be a little while.

Oh, well. Sometimes it works out great when shes got school work to do, I quietly surf the boards.

I have a thing for starting on the passenger quarter, and working my way forward, then up and across, then back down and back the other side.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. I will contribute as much as my other half will let me. She nags that after a day at the shop Im on the internet too much in the evening.

I tried doing the pictures with the normal tags on the front and back. Your right it must have been the numbers throwing things off.

Really like the videos on the board!
