September 6, 2012 at 6:49 pm #38216Well I made a small test, degrease, sanded with 320 degrease again then DP40 as sealer then SS.
It dried overnight then out in the sun today. Then when I came back I put some 2″ masking tape over and pulled. No problem at all.September 5, 2012 at 1:47 pm #38183Thanks, the PPG rep answered that it’s more or less impossible also He suggested as you to degrease very well and then just use DP40. What AP did you use?
DagAugust 25, 2012 at 6:40 pm #38053No, not even in the Congo. We use this tree…

July 30, 2012 at 8:09 pm #37742Thanks!
If I use the DP40 as a sealer would it fill sanding scratches, if so up to what grit?
Or should I always finish with 400 for SS or 600 for B/C?Dag

September 26, 2011 at 5:11 pm #33197OK, I will have a closer look at the bottom part. They have painted some other boat in
DELFLEET but I have not seen how it has hold up. How thick is the gelcoat, can you paint it with a primer gun?Dag

June 10, 2011 at 12:13 pm #31170Thanks guys,
I am looking for a Silver pearl.
For my new booth construction, it’s on stby. First I was planing on making a downdraft but I think I will do a semi downdraft or side draft instead to reduce costs.
