    Howdy,

I realised it was too much for my back to paint it myself so I asked for some help. Took for ever to put the epoxy on so we had to continu in the evening
to paint the first layer of color and my booth was occupied. Then next day we painted the second coat. The owner came and picked it up and dropped
    off some of the panels.

The epoxy and color used was Delfleet, the panels will be in BC.

Thanks, I will try it out when the PPG rep is back from Holiday.

I will also try to order some but it’s a hassle to get anything here and out of custom… I would like to try some blue and red.

The local painters ask about $100-200 to paint a car and I can’t compete with that so what I would like to try is some
specially effect paint and things like that.

Now, that Is a real car! I love Buick’s, had a 67 Wildcat that I only drove 2 meter in reverse… I then took the engine out and put in my 79 Olds Delta 88. What engine is going in?
In Sweden I started to restore a 63 Riviera but returned to the Congo and I had to sell it.

I will paint it the Corvette Atomic Orange using PPG Deltron. It will be a bc/CC now this formula contains xirallic and my question is if the undercoat color will have any influence as when you paint a 3 stage?

Thank’s for the link, pictures and suggestions. I will go for a downdraft, labour is cheap here and to import something is way to expensive.

I have a 78 Corvette to paint also and the PPG instructor advised me to use their D831
wash primer. I can get the F399 Delfleet epoxy and also D8046 HB 2K primer.
What would you recomend me to use?

Very nice indeed, witch cap do you use for your LPH? I also has the 1.3 but it’s so slow and I don’t get it to flow out like that.
