Eliminating static may help, however if this is a new problem what has changed? why suddenly is there more static. are you getting debris in the base as well. I would really look into another cause as well. figure out what is suddenly different in the last month or so. does this happen with any other clears you use? Bad batch of hardener, old filter coming apart…..

    Welcome to the forum :spraywelc:
Jimmo, the site owner has used onyx (rm’s version of 90 line). hopefully he will chime in for you.
the complaints you have are the normal complaints for basf water. Honestly the only way I have heard people fix the issue is by switching to another paint line

Just a silly question. I use disposable cups because i am lazy. If you wash the liners out and reuse them, why not save the money and just mix your products in plastic mixing cups and wash those out instead?
I am currently using the old style Norton liners until my jobber runs out, probably the cheapest liner system out there, they have been changed due to the fact that they are very similar to the 3M pps ststem (Legal issues). They are now updated but am hearing about issues with the new design. I use them for base only.
What kind of issues are you hearing
And ding if u want to go off what the person is using reflect on the dbc post. Ben is tellin him how to do it with what he uses. Dbc500 will never change the color in the slightest bit. So again…. instead of one uping a reply.. just tey giving liget info to start with
you’re right. dbc500 wont change the color of a panel. however applying dbc edge to edge on a blend panel will require you to apply 2 coats of clear on the full panel. and in the case of some light colors (mostly lighter metallics) those extra coats of clear can darken the color compared to the adjacent non painted panel. Many manufacturers suggest stopping your wet bed just beyond your blend area for this reason.

Sorry there KK. it’s the implication that you made that Ben would only post to receive a thank you, and the thought that he is only a bodyman so he doesnt have any right to give suggestions on paint guns.
And honestly, if you spent thousands on paint guns that someone suggested, without first demoing them to see if they would work properly for you, thats pretty dumb.
Ok ben. Well then. For shrinkle wrinkle u say tekna. For ppg deltron I say 1.4. Keep trying buddy. Hopefully u get another thank u. Ur a bodyman right? Just asking
Kinda uncalled for there. the guy is using nexa not deltron. Smooth uses nexa as well and suggested a tekna 1.3. Not sure if you’ve seen Bens work, but he paint pretty good too.

Go with Utech polybase plus and ms clear then. It’s an Akzo product like lesonal. Base has great coverage and the pricing is very inexpensive
