Just about any PPG clear costs me about $200.00gl and a quart of hardener is about $100.00. How does the S-W clear work in a booth. My booth moves a ton of air and I have trouble using any kind of quick clear

June 10, 2008 at 1:35 am #10607I just did a small one for a quad cab dakota for a local state trooper that help me collect on a bounced check. Charged $400.00 and he was happy as hell. Place that sells them around here charges $700.00

June 7, 2008 at 6:53 am #10564I run my own show and do all the work. Mostly customer pay stuff, Resto, custom, completes. Some collision work. When I can Afford to hire someone it will be on salary. I think it is the best way but you have to pony up the right money, give benefits and just take care of the help, other wise there is no point and you won’t get anyone good (or keep them for that matter)
June 3, 2008 at 1:17 am #10508The tech sheet for the ncp also says “Exposed bare metal should be spot primed with a suitable bare metal primer”.
I would stick with epoxy if I was going to due filler over primer. - AuthorPosts
