No
Actually were the scratches were was on the roof only I fixed it with another coat of 2k primmer and sanded it out with 400 and 500 wet.

Last night after washing it all down with soap and water letting it dry out then wiped it all down with W/G remover and shot Base Got some trash from not useing Tack rag after W/G remover. Very upset with myself right now

Bondo Mud work wasn’t a whole lot of it But I did do some
I put some slick sand over the Epoxy I put on too.

Hey Jim
I guess I didnt explain well enough The car is still in Primer.

I’m wondering more IF it would have been a problem?

Like I said I put another coat of primmer on it last night and blocked it again with 400 and 500 looks good now I’m planning on shooting my Base coat today IF every thing goes right today.

Ryan
Yep I was thinking that I over did it in my Jump in grits too.

Nexson
I would stay away from those single stage type filler’s except maybe to use it as Run remover!
Like Jimmo showed in one of his posts thats the best use for it I have ever seen!
I have had many bad spots show up under my base from that stuff when I first started now I only use a real two part fillers for even the smallest of any filling even pin holes.

Thanks Jim
I am going to refrain from doing that.
Andy can you post a bigger picture of that set up?
How much bigger do you want? It’s a thumbnail, so clicking on it will take you to the full sized version (1024×768), :)
Hmm when I click on it nothing happens  thats why I asked :pcorn:

Oh well i found it!
Best way – TIG welded stainless! run lines in the wall behind the sheetrock and stub out where you need air!
Nice tidy idea.

Ours runs around the ceiling, then drops down to these units which give us air, electric, and dust extraction.

Not exactly within most peoples budget though!
Neither of those Ideas are within anyone’s budget I know of that actually works on cars any way. :exci Planes and Race cars thats another story and even then those guys dont bend wrenches or do smelly paint cool though.

Andy can you post a bigger picture of that set up?

In my Dream shop Ill run air thru the walls 😛

What are the opinions on Wet sanding this stuff??

I need to know before I try it. :S

I have a couple good coats of it on all my Fenders doors Hood and trunk now,
I already know I am going to need a Tad bit of mud here and there too does this stuff need a good tooth to hold mud? 180 ok?

Had the car out side and found a few deep scratches in a couple spots and have decided on one more coat of Hi build.
I ran 1 1/2 copper for my main pipe with 3/4 drops. little overkill  but addin bier pipe helps on your air storage and the compressor doesnt have to cycle as much
I thought and am pretty sure Black pipe was for gas such as Natural gas or Propane and regular Galvanized was for water, Either way Black pipe works good for me too. 😛
I’m running 1 inch all over the shop and half inch taps off that.
