    i like the dupont 5100 clear. it sits flat and has lots of gloss.

    Im a sata guy to but the iwata is king…. use the non hvlp with a 1.4 for clear.

    I spray with onyx. I like to put reds and yellows over a white ground coat! Wood that clean the color up?

    I watched a guy paint a bath tub . can you blend that shit in or do you have to paint the interior surfaces ?

    BASF just recalled 1 batch off hb203. i think there will be more we had at least three different batches .thay are also reimbursing us for any re-paints we did!

    use the vr0 reducer in the 5800 it makes a differenc!

    if you use the ds-30 or 31 or the glaso. equivalent you dont have to sand the inside of new parts. are you still spraying the 5100 or have you gone to the 5800 yet?

    thax ill call him tomorrow. other than that the onyx has been working good for us for the last 6 months. the best part is using it to cut-in parts mixed in with the ds-30.it saves a ton of time and looks oem.

    hay jimmo just got home from work . i didnt count but it had to be 12 or 13 cars. i had to sand one . it sands ok but i have quads and no humidity. i do 70% and no hardaner. you can see the 203 get clumpyer by the day. we switch it out after 3 or 4 days.

    cool. i think we were given bad info from the start. they said to shake it but i think its to aggressive. they said use a sata hvlp 1.5 but it sprays better with a rp 1.3 or an iwata 1.3. they said 2 flashed coats and then an orientation coat but it sits flatter if you orientate while wet.
