Cant wait to learn The Dougie.
Between that and jimmo’s dance moves,my paint work will be awesome.
How am I going to explain to the wife I need carpet for the booth, not the living room?
Guess I’m on the hunt for some nice psychedelic shag carpet.
Put enough base color to cover the primer /sealer. Not just 2-3 because the directions say to.
As Far as cleacoat. Dont try to spray it like glass. It is easier to polish a little orange peel that it is to remove runs.
Take you time . You will do fine.
I use the 8:1 over reduced DC5335 clear under Onyx. No problems.
“”sharing info here and in my videos, if its as good as the Dupont reps say it is the cars will pretty much paint themselves .””
Paint themselves would be great. Then you could spend more time on your dance moves in the videos :dnc
Why the switch from Onyx?
I thought you had it dialed in pretty good.
I would like to try Dupont. My buddy sprays it and loves it.
I have used Transtar Motor City Clear. $55 for a sprayable gallon. Have only used it on small stuff.
Looks decent when it leaves. Dont know how it holds up long term.
