Has anyone ever thought of getting techs involved with assosiations or groups. I would think it would have a bigger impact than just shop owners.

The 114 is an excellent product for deep scratches and gouges. Just follow the directions!

10 minutes to stick it on and clamp is plenty of time after it has been fit and trimmed. I like to look at the unclamp time.

Just because a few people really make good money in the industry doesn’t mean there is the potential for everyone. Look at the average pay per state. In my opinion the averages really suck. If I were young I would look at this and think why would I want to make that in 10 years. Also how many people have really good benefits in this industry, everywhere I have been there was little to no benefits.

I want to say it is about 42,000sqft. There is up to five estimaters, two parts guys, 10 to 14 body guys, four preppers, two painters, two production managers and 3 mechanics. Biggest place I have ever been in.

My question is this what would you gain by putting an expensive high build primer under your mud work accomplish, besides costing you money.

I find it hard to find a place that will pay enough. If you are not willing to pay out $75,000 for a top tech they are not going to be beating down your door.

Four detailers at the shop I’m at. They buff, wash and do interiors.

Who has time to sit and type away at the key board all the time. You work at least 50 hours a week then go home to the family all the running around. I only have a little time in the morning on the weekends.

Structural foam(sometimes refered to as pillar foam) is hard and not flexible. Do not confuse this with the anti-flutter foam or sealant. You will find it in B-pillar, rockers and rear body panels. It is a hard foam.

I prefer flat rate over strait time. As an employee salary sounds good especially if you are getting old.
