That’s really cool Bondo… my wife would just fall in love with that deer if that happened here.

I can see it now, can we bring it in side tonight, it’s cold outside. :lol1

    I like that car Han…

No need to buy a body kit. that’s cheating. You can make your own by cutting right above the wheel flare and pulling it out and welding it 2 or 3″ use a strip to fill in the gap. Maybe take the top down a little or rake it to give a different look. You could get really crazy and cut the whole car down the side and remove an inch or two to give it a different look that makes people look at it and scratch their heads. Or go the other way and make the car or truck wider by splitting it down the middle and install wider axles or leave the axles stock width and install wide wheels and tires along with the flared fenders to give it a rallye look.

    Just thoughts. 😛

I was thinking the same thing. It takes me a while to do one car by the time I mask and base then clear.

We must be doing something wrong?

    Hey knob… j/k lol

seems like it has bidders now. Did you email him asking what his reserve was set at?
I know that 435 is higher than 280. I was asking about the gun as it seemed to be bragged about a lot.

I also saw a gun called accuspray 05-100. It was at tri-city. It didn’t have an air knob on the bottom instead it had a pressure regulator valve that screwed on that was preset air pressure. Non-adjustable. I can get that for $120. The guy said that it was a copy of the sata gun. Said it was very good. ????

Is anyone using the Tenka X gun that’s being giving away? If so, how well does it work?

You guys mention that there is highs, in fact that it is almost perfect when I pop it out. The problem is if you push it with a little pressure it will pop back in.

To me that means its stretched, right? Whats the best remedy for this a shrinking disc?

Dennis and Kent, thanks for the input. I will check in to the info you posted. When I said that I would ask the guy at the paint shop I was talking about an old retired painter that works in the back that mixes and blends paints. He also works the counter some times and if he isn’t up there I ask for him as he seems to be the most knowledgeable one there.

I have changed floors and removed panels for repairs. Taking cars all the way apart and re-assembled them, but as for the mangled panels I haven’t dealt with. I will leave that to you guys.

I do have a mig. Just lay a bead across the middle and grind it off? That should make it where it wont pop in and out easily?

    That sounds easy enough.

    Thanks.

That’s what I have done so far. I learned everything I know all by myself. The first car I painted I had no clue what to do but just did what seemed to be the logical way. Just asked the guys at the paint store when I needed something and they were always good to help out.

Thanks for the help. Seems like a lot of people are using the 1.4 tips.

go to http://www.photobucket.com and sign up and download your pictures there. After you download them click under the photo on the IMG CODE button and copy and paste it here. Make sure you separate the pictures by hitting the enter button so the next picture shows under the top one. If you don’t do that the pictures will be side by side and wont be easy for us to view them.
