I would get it cleared in the 24hr window to avoid problems.Just change hardners/reducers to the correct temp.

Most of the problems I see are from guys over thinking. Just go in there and do what you know how to do. We rarely have issues with blends, water has helped with some of those issues, blends easier. We do wet beds on every blend, metallic or not, that way we dont forget. Keep things simple, and organized and you wont have issues. Gun setup and proper technique is a must to get good blends. This stuff isnt hard, just take your time and get to know your gun! 🙂

You have to get the correct pps cups for water, has a different screen in it. We use the RPS cups from Sata, they work really nice. I would get a new gun dedicated to water, probably a Sata 3000 1.4. Good luck with RM water, we found it to be a huge disappointment coming from Diamont.

Been there done that, would never go back. We had 9 DRP contracts for 10 years and I would no way in hell go back to that nightmare.. We are now DRP free, I still have retained all 9 guys and we are making more per job then before. DRP is the easy way out, do some real marketing and you wont need them.. Anyone who thinks they are really needs to look hard at the numbers.. If you like doing more for less than all means get on a drp today.

If you are putting your pearl in a mid coat and put 2-3 coats of clear over it you wont cut through. Or at least you should not unless you do some crazy sanding or have to fix a run. I would only prime where is needed, so you dont have to prime and sand the whole car again.

If I was you I would focus more on day to day operations and management. I would go back to school and get a degree in business management with maybe a finance minor. I really feel that money to be made is there and not in the shop.

In Illinois you cant legally move a vin tag, the state comes out and does it for a fee.

Problem is that will be hard to show on camera, it will look shiny either way, full or medium coat.

You guys need to get the setup that hooks into your air.. If you have a charcoal filter inline you will be fine.. I used the 3m papr mask and reworked it to hook into my shop air.. Works great and no extra hose.. Jimmo you will like it when it gets hot out, like having air conditioning. Well worth the money to me.. I peel the film about once a week unless I paint and engine bay or something.. Amazing how much stuff comes back at your face sometimes.

Make sure the spots you are filling with regular plastic are to bare metal.. You can put evercoat metal glaze over scuffed paint but not regular filler, may cause issues down the road..

We have all copper 3/4 pipe here at the shop, it wasnt cheap, but wont have to worry about rust issues.. And its easy to change if you want, just cut and solder.

Should of switched stands on those bumper covers. Would of been easier to do the front one on the actual bumper stand 🙂 Should hang them from the ceiling, works good if you dont have a stand.
