Thanks a ton man, I was hooked on the quick release thing lol and when I tried to take it off without going through that whole it kept slipping off. So what is the actual use of that hole I always thought it might be for the hose to use as a watersander but wasn’t sure. As old as these sanders are you would figure the internet would be littered with breakdowns and rebuilds on them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqLPdVL8Vao here is a little video on them.
I have a 4500 and am thinking about getting the 600 because I found one for 110 new
Gotcha, I’m kinda new to the game only worked at a small shop so not in with all the lingo. lol But yeah I was looking at some but they was starting at 1200 and I got my stud welder for 250. I’m just tryin to get started right now, hopefully I can grab one later if depending on how everything goes.
Good, I hope I picked a gun that will suit me well. It was a toss up for me rather to get the HVLP or the Rp version of the 4000.
Since this is going to be my all around gun for a little while, at least turn some profit to pay for my investments so far.
I will be using for everything but primer.
Do you have any issues with metallic/pearls water or solvents?
That’s for all the replies.
Sucks that the snap on I’ve drops pins but I guess it is something I must deal with now since that is the one I got.
Ended up getting it got 250 I don’t even think out has been used, didn’t come with the clamp but I think that it was a option from the dealer. And this panel beater you speak of sounds expensive. Lol
Any of you guys have a sata 4000 rp?
