    i love their epoxies.ive used it on three bare metal completes.no issues.I also like there universal clear.

    BLOW ALl THE FILLER DUST OFF AFTER SANDING b4 applying more filler.It effects adhesion offollowing filler coats.Use guide coats & use a hard block.

    IT WILL SHRINK!All welds shrink and weld putty,air,cold water etc doesnt help.You will have to hammer and dolly on dolly to raise the shrunk area then you can use filler.

    I used a soft block with the 1000 grit then 1500 grit.I think im gonna leave it and go for an oem type finish with a little OP.

    You have to “true” Durablocks.I put 80 grit stickit paper on a 24 inch mirror(nuthin straighter than that) than spray the dblock with white spraypaint and run the block over the mirror till im down to black.Perfect every time.I think anything longer than 17 inches is a waste of time.How do u keep a 36 inch block flat to the surface.U guys must have long arms and im 6 1.

    I dont have the Tekna but I LUV MY DEVILBISS PLUS.I use the 1.4 with clear.I use a SHARPE SGF98 hvlp for base w/a1.3 tip

    TIME is why ! We may strip to bare metal Today not get back to it for a week or 2. Maybe letting it surface rust& just sanding that off with 80 g before epoxy priming would be better.
