After edging 3 panels this am all i can say is Wow did Sata get it right or what with this freakin rp version or what. My tack coat flowed so well i coulda been done with it. I would never usually waste this much clear on the back side of panels but i wanted to see what she would do- so after 10 minutes i hammered another fat wet coat on and man what a finish. you guys using a 1.4 must be using a very thick clear cause I was using some limco 4100 unreduced and the 1.3 was puttin it out. Nice gun Iwata is absolutely screwed.
thankyou for your input. I’ll be edging a bunch of parts on a ford superduty in am with my new 5000 rp look forward to fallin in love with it. Never disliked any of my satajets but loved some more than others. What clears are you using? i am a diamont guy as well but lately been using metalux.
In what way? faster I’m sure but does it atomize as well? I’ve heard it sprayed like an rp2

I just wated to say hello. My nameis Scott I am retired military but worked as combo guy in the 1990’s full time after retiring and alsopart time while active duty. I always loved painting but only did it when our painter(s) were on vacation and for myself. I have a small shop with homemade booth and do completes on customer rides the way i want now and love doing it. You guys who do it every day all day are awesome for those of us who dont and have questions. i have been a silent member reading yalls post and appreciate yall very much -Scott
