Looks neat, I’ve been meaning to try and arange a demo on that system.
Have you seen a similar system in the US, if so do you have any links i had contact from a friend over at A.B.O. wondering if it may be availible in the U.S.
That is cool id imagine with this there is less ripping which is easy to do with other tools. I have pretty good success with the wiggle wire i weld on with our prospot then use a bear claw puller, but this looks better.
yea i have used wiggle wire in the past, and it’s okay as well but you get a far stronger pull with this system.

The company are bringing out a new version of this tool and it will be able to pull A post’s i have not seen it as yet but quite keen to see how it works. Great if you dont have to mount on the rack for a pull on a post.
nice set up. I can picture my guy making big dents with the feet of the puller
never had that problem if you use plenty of eyelets on the damaged area there is not so much localised pressure on the crease/dent

on really strong areas they have to be placed realy close like this.

you can even pull crease’s out of chassis legs, put leg under load from your pull ram then use the strong puller on the kinked area

sorry very small pic of chassis but you get the idea
I want one! How do you like this system Nick? Here is what we use at my work.

    http://www.dentfix.com/viewItem.asp?idProduct=45&item=DF-505_%27The_Original_Maxi%27_Dent_Pulling_Station

Yours looks quite a bit nicer!
Ryan we love this system it is very versatile, my old pin welder justs sits in the corner now, never been used since we got this.

Downside is it cost arms and legs to buy very expensive, but my motto is if we can make our life easier and i can afford i will buy it.

End of the day if the man on the job can repair it quicker, thats more money in the pot for future tool investment.

One of the great things about using the strong puller pic below is you can lock the puller under tension on the dent you then have two hands free to do any hammer and dolly work

i would think the type of work that you describe, would be based purely on opinion time.

Opinion time is a time based on one’s opinion of how long it takes to carry out the repair.

I.E. You could have a repairable dent on a rear quarter panel, take it to three bodyshops.

Each bodyshop would estimate in their opinion how long to carry out the repair, and you would most likely have three different prices.

the paint and material price should be the same at each shop but the labour time would probaly be different

    welcome :welc

i often do a salvage builds

All my courtesy/loaner cars are salvage re-builds

my own car, wifes car, and son’s car are also salvage builds, i would never in a thousand years buy a car at a garage forecourt/lot price.

my painter has made a nice job of this one hardly any dirt, not bad considering it was quite a squeeze in my small booth.
