yes it will work fine.A da is the old school sander that you can lock the weight on the bottom and it will be like a grinder, put the weight back and its an orbital sander.A palm sander is like a dynabrade.
Spot on a lot of people dont know the difference between a D.A. and a sander

D.A = Dual Action Sanding and grinding

Regular sander such as as dynabrade is just for sanding and generally has a smaller orbit of around 5mm

I am lucky my painter is an expert at sealing.

Sealing really is an art, my painter does it all free hand no masking tape

I can understand that…lol I usually do the seam sealing myself.

Nice looking work Nick. Did you guys panel bond the 1/4 on? It all looks like clean work.
Hi Ben bonded in the wheel arch area, we like to bond them there as i always think this is one of the first area’s that is susceptible to corrosion from welding

had these for a long time, got my first one back in 1998.

I have both sizes the big one and the smaller one, use the bigger one most of the time, great for localised grinding, good for grinding down the sail/sill joint when fitting new quarter, also great for plug weld grinding .

Their uses are limitless our’s get used every day for all manner of task’s

Wot a weird thread, you would think it was some old ancient secret tradition handed down since the birth of sprayguns, secret handshakes an all that.

I dont like the idea of abrading anything on a gun so i dont want a pm 😛

Been using it for awhile it is a true high solid, so you will need to up your pressure at the gun, good micron build and polishes very easy.

Though like all high solids it needs a bake even after air dry over night it will still be a little soft.
