Yes its OK,,,and like P/W said,,,dont hose it on, and wait about 30 min before you spray your 2K primer over it.
Yeah,,,like he said, Adhesion promoter first, then 2k urethane.
Why don’t you just put a vinyl sign BEHIND the glass,,,,Do you have to use glass?
I would never think about painting a piece of glass for this application.
There are many different ways you can do this,,,,have you ever thought about Plexiglass?
It would be a lot easier to work with……………..You need a lot more fan than 800cfm……………..
You said “backpaint”,,,I guess you are talking about painting the backside or inside of the glass?
Can you paint the outside instead?
The reason why I ask,,,is that you can cover the glass with a good quality vinyl first and then paint that………If its real bad,,,I would replace the bumper with a aftermarket one. Sometimes its faster, cheaper, and a lot less trouble………………..
This stuff works like a charm! AND its CLEAR!

Whats you air temp? Around 80-85?
If its in the mid 80’s you need to go to a hotter reducer for an all over.What temp reducer are you using?
If it was me,,,,I would run the pressure up some, and run the fluid adjustment all the way out……………..(Your starving the gun)
You put automotive clear over bare Alum?
