,,,,,,”Their premier members and merchant members get American support”

,,,,but they also get the “Rag Head” treatment. Been there, done that

I will never deal with “Pay-Pal” again!

I had a problem with them years ago and had to talk to a bunch of “Rag Heads” that could barely speak English!

When they found out that they screwed up,,,,,they hung up the phone on me!

If you like paper work,,,,Go for it! (Just be careful!)

Your right Han,,,,The shop owner worries about the deductibles,,,,the painter worries about color match……………Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha 😉

Some of you might not have noticed that he didn’t blend the hood or the trunk.
I love it when the angle on the top of the fender or quarter changes before it meets the hood or trunk!

Jason is right about the slower reducer. DuPont is the same way……….

Good post Jason! Sounds like you know how to get it done!

Quote,,,,”run your fan wide open and your fluid control wide open. Another way is to pull the trigger and turn the fluid knob in until you feel the trigger move slightly, that is perfect” end quote.

That’s the way I would set up my DeVilbiss guns. (I would turn the fan in just a little)

Its not like the paint is gonna go bad if you mix or order to much. You can save what you don’t use.
I would ask him to get off your back and let you do your job, and not worry about running out of paint. You are talking about quality issues here. You don’t save money when you have to re-do the job because you can see through the paint.

Sounds like it might be time to start looking at other shops. He is going to have a hard time keeping a painter if he runs his shop like that.
Nothing would piss me off more than running out of paint when I’m in the middle of a job! It kills your production time………………

You lose about 3-5lbs of flow pressure with a 3/8″ hose……….

    July 10, 2010 at 5:28 pm #22625

Thats right, get yourself a good high flow diaphragm regulator and hang it on the wall. All of the instructors I have had in school told us not to have anything on the gun. It should be on the wall.

If the part is on the car, I wouldn’t even think about it.
If its a bumper you are spraying off the car, just reinstall it the next day and you wont need it.
    I never use it……………
