I’m with everyone else as far as using a flat single stage black. You are wasting your time spraying a flat black then a flat clear. The flat result comes from the flat clear only (if you are clearing).
Or even easier, just spray black primer.

You can look at all the how to’s and videos you want. But, take it from me, there is no substitute for plain, old fashioned practice. The more hands on practice, the better you will get.

Switching from Sikkens to Sherwin Willims would be a huge mistake in my opinion. After using Sikkens ColorScala pro sprayout decks we havn’t had near the time involved in finding an acceptable matching color. With Sherwin Willims it seems like the colors we’ve mixed have been way off from their color chips if they have them at all. As far as Sherwin Willims waterborne paint, you’d be lucky to find one chip in their prospector decks to compare a paint color. Haven’t found one standard sprayout for their awx paint, but they will give you a chip for alts 8,9 and 13?! Sherwin Willims is cheap paint compared to Sikkens, but I hope you like spraying a lot of alts to find your color with SW. Their primer is junk too. It may dry faster, but has nowhere near the film build that Sikkens has. Sherwin Williams recommends spraying primer with a 1.3 tip! No wonder it dries fast, you aren’t putting anything on!

Looks like you’ve got a good start. I’m currently painting a remake of Nicholas Cage’s chopper that he had in Ghost Rider (the one before it turns into the skeleton bike). Which happens to be a replica of the captain america bike only with a flame job. (this is supposedly why Peter Fonda says “Nice bike” in the movie as he rode the captain america bike in East Rider. I’ll have to post some pics of my progress as well.
