Thanks Ben for the reply. I have been looking into getting a new downdraft booth and the Spray Tech was on the top of my list. I just have to wait a while because they are not cheap.

Thanks for the responses. If I use the UC35 how long should I wait before I buff. I do not have a heated booth.

good points Jayson. I appreciate all your input

Wow I guess you guys do it all. Its nice that you just have to paint them. The body work side seems endless on restoration projects. I guess my next restoration I will have to charge for time & materials. Thanks Jayson

Boy Jayson you got some job security there. Doing paint and body work on them old cars is a lot of work, yet can be very rewarding when completed. It also helps when the customer understands that quality work doesn’t come cheap. When working on the older stuff do you guys charge the customer by the hour or give them a set price? I’ve given a set price in the past and after I add up all my hours and the price of paint and materials, I’m only working for about $20 an hour if not less. It is good fill in work when the collision jobs arn’t rolling in, but does get in the way when I’m busy. Oh well guess you can’t have it all.

Great work Ding. That is the cleanest boiler plumbing I’ve ever seen. Keep up the good work.
