Hi Jommy :welc
it seems to me right now that you really have nothing to lose for an interest in any career. it seems that youre pretty up to date with cars and such so anyting in that area should interest you. Try getting a job at some local shops or garages or something. It looks like you have an interest in bikes, and as far as i can tell customized bikes are getting more and more popular on the west coast and even east coast. hopefully something will catch your fancy man. Welcome to have you.
March 14, 2010 at 8:55 am #20078I was thinking with the used gun on Ebay what I get it and its all dirty on the inside or the fluid needle is messed up on it. I sent the guy an email but havn’t heard anything back. Theres a brand new one in box on there with the 1.4 needle and the silver, purple, and orange cap for 575 shipped. is that still a good price for the gun and the three tips?? if it is ill go ahead and buy it now.
March 13, 2010 at 11:37 pm #20061yeah looks like you have some nice shops man. i love the open house stunt show!
March 13, 2010 at 11:34 pm #20059HCC/WCC- yeah i have no idea where it will take me as well. I love working on cars and felt thats what I wanted to do, but after painting them Ive wanted to get into something different.
Jomull- whats your name? yes the 306 is NA so far. I need to get a tune on it and then later a nitrous tune. you can definitely get those times down with better tires. You have a nice combo so far its just tweeking it. We only have a 1000ft track here in arkansas thats close by and I could only get mine to a 10.70@99 with a consistant 2.08 60ft. I need slicks
March 13, 2010 at 10:59 pm #20058Hey thanks alot Jimmo. the gun does have the 1.3 tip on it but I plan on getting various tips. and I’m watching it on ebay. It looks to be pretty clean kept. The only primer that I have shot is epoxy primer ( uncertain of which kind ) and DPS3055 for a filler. Its what we use in class. I really like the way it sprayed and it was easy so ill be using that again probably. For clear the only clear I have shot is PPG Delta DCB100 and I like that as well. Of course I’m not experienced yet.
March 13, 2010 at 12:49 pm #20022nice write up Nex!! I have afriend with a Prelude who loves doing little stuff with his car. Like painting badges, trim, lug nut cap H, retrofit headlights and such. Ill definitely let him look at this thread since we’re about to start body work on his car and hopefully can spray it soon.

March 11, 2010 at 7:27 am #19978thanks guys
Nexson I was actually just looking at your thread of your garage. All i have to say is that I wish my garage was at least half that clean. Half of it is full of car parts, engine stands, hoist, engine blocks, and miscellaneous stuff. the other half boxes of my mom and sisters stuff! lol
