It’s the side line mid height on the fender that goes from the fender through the door.

The paint itself is good I just want to sand off the clear and re apply. What grid should I use to get rid of the clear to re apply new clear? Thanks guys.

How much should I sand? Considering it was a within panel blend should I just go to where I went with the base coat or should I sand the whole panel? And how do I know when to stop sanding?

What do you mean by priming 2 times?

Yeah I’ve done a couple of small jobs but nothing to get a perfect finish like this project. I just don’t want to sand over this dent and have it be wavy or lumpy.

Yeah I just want to make sure I’m going to be able to get the dent flat across. You know being that it’s fairly long I don’t want to have a lumpy fill.

Yeah I’m thinking I’m going to paint the whole tailgate and hit the ends of it with
A mist as lightly as possible to keep the factory color there. As
For the pinstripe it is a vinyl stick on pin stripe so I. WIll be taking that off painting then putting a new one on.

The left side is worse than the right.

There are a couple of pretty deep scratches on the left side of the panel. Would I be able to get away with blending the ends anyway?
