what was initially wrong with the roof? and why did you strip off all the paint? looks like you have your work cut out for you. good luck

wow, i have never heard of such a thing. if you add a hardener to a clear it cannot be used after a half an hour, because it starts to harden.

if your not using a professional paint booth and are air drying give your paint( base coat) a 20 minute flash time at least and you should be fine. i would also suggest using a sealer over your primer. my thought on this is the longer you give your material to dry will result in a better finish and no surprises later down the road 😉

i use aquabase plus every day in my shop. i have to say that it is a good product with great color mataches. every variant has an actual spray outs in their variant decks.so you can actually see what the variant looks like. no problems here 😉

yes you can use lesonal pro air clear over ppg base coat, i use it every day at my shop. i have very good success with ppg, i defenitly would not recommend adding anything to it. i would suggest using a waterborne cleaner before applying the base coat. a salon style hair dryer would be perfect to get the stuff to dry, you can use it on hot setting but hold it back a distance.

my thoughts exactly. some times trying to cut corners makes double work in the end

looks like alot of work to me for something that is going to crack. panel bonding is the only method i would use on a scoop like that.
