i thought that the hip charcoal filter was what made it grade D air
March 20, 2012 at 9:22 am #36399i’ve had this happen to me in the past and what seems to have worked for me is to dust a light coat of sealer on the sanded thru spots (whether to original paint, primer, surfacer, etc) and then come back with a full coat of sealer after you’ve let it set for a minute or two. since it’s catalyzed i can’t see it wrinkling or lifting or ringing up.
March 19, 2012 at 8:15 am #36381finally retired an old Spitznagel. that thing was a beast! have a H&S now.. works well although i think they changed the formula for the nails when the price of copper went up. they don’t stick quite like they used to. mine also seems to have sticky contacts from time to time and so i always unplug that thing when i’m done. (came back from lunch, something smelled like hot electrical and the dent gun was freaking HOT) bad juju

http://www.toolsource.com/k900p-portable-vehicle-lift-6000-capacity-p-110729.html?sourceid=googlepsMarch 18, 2012 at 11:37 pm #36355I added lesonal waterbased about a year ago and it definitely comes in handy when doing small repairs and any kind of gold/beige/silver blending. pretty effortlessly. downsides… solid colors seem to want to pull away on sharp body lines sometimes.. have to dust them in. finer prep, doesn’t build much so more nibbing when you get the occasional dust chunk. i have been very happy with lesonal solvent that i added the water and will continue to use both. definitely give it a try before hand… it’s a trip
