Tell you what I learned from what bondo told me a month ago…it’s not always wide open on OVERALL or panel painting. Some times you need to adjust differently. I was having a problem with my Sata. I cleaned up the fan a fuzz, Increased the pressure to 30 (HVLP), and slowed down a tad….waalaa….success!!! :rock :rock Some pros might have thought there was hardware issues and a need to go replace very expensive parts. so glad I listened to the pro bondo and applied it to my application…whew!!!! Saved me hundreds of dollars!!! Thanks!! :pcorn:

Some times the resin will settle and separate,if you take the top off and mix it with a coat hanger or screwdriver it will help.Nothing worse than squeezing out some putty and most of it is resin, that can cause the film.IMO the best flowable putty is upol dolphin glaze or liquid gold, the evercoat stuff just seems like it is going downhill.I would rather use marson platinum or USC progold ES for filler and upol for putty.
I like the Carsystem Eurogold filler (which is similar, but easier to sand to the 3M gold). I would think the U-Pol filler is similar. As for putties, I like the U-Pol gold and the Casrsystem. Next to them I like the icing. I like really thin flowable putty, so the icing is almost too thick for me.
the matrix is like sgueeze butter you would love it
for this same reason i like using USC icing because it doesnt leave a sticky residue. it flows great and doesnt pinhole like the other glazes
I like the icing or the matrix glaze…they seem to leave the least amount of waxy layer i have found.
the icing is 18 bucks a tube and the matrix is 20.

I have Dekups and the cup liners….the liners are cheaper and I like them for spraying out of position….upside down…
Not all poly primers go over bare metal. Most evercoat stuff needs something under it.

I like the 4:1 super build myself. That can go over bare metal, etch, epoxy, old finishes, etc. and it builds like crazy. Like 8-10 mils per coat.
Are you reducing the 4:1 blov?
