I am spraying a 65 Corvette the original goldwood yellow.Dupont was the original supplier to GM for the Corvette plant in 65.I want to be sure the color is accurate. This is a solid color so I know that makes is easier to get the color correct. We had a real hard time trying to get the color right on a 67 Vette that was a met green with PPG.I have a SATA NR2000 gun.As far as a booth,it is nothing spectacular.

I will be doing it myself.I have painted alot of vehicles. But that has been over 15 yrs ago.I use to be stuck on PPG and turned out some nice paint jobs at the time.
I do not make my living painting cars.Just a hobby now.I don’t know that much about todays systems. The Dupont jobber is an old friend and he is pushing me towards Dupont. He did suggest Spies 5400 primer for the Corvette I am doing and I really like it.He said that any Dupont system would go over the Spies primer.Anyway,I started thinking about it and found this site and thought I would ask and get others ideas.
