dont worry about the mottling issue ben. After all you are painting GMs now
Yeah really…I saw a pearl white caddy on the showroom floor a while ago and it looked horrible…
Jump to the other side and be an insurance adjuster…lol. You can still see wrecks everyday…just you make the money to look at them rather than beating up your body repairing them.
I hope he doesn’t spray foam for a living…lol
Gotta take care of the good customers…
1/4″ is alot? Geez that’s just a skim coat…
Bumper covers dont match from the factory…looks good from my house…
What caps are you spraying with? Are they the hvlp or compliant?
Just put the whole thing in the crusher…its a bronco II…lol
Yeah those first few pics are a little scary haha…but it gets the job done anyways…no one will ever see it. That’s the rigid foam correct? Most of the jobs I’ve been on the rigid foam doesn’t even fill the whole cavity. The soft foam they spray heavy and let it expand out past the studs and then shave it off flush. But most people seem to use the rigid foam. It’s good stuff for sure. Works real nice on a pole barn with tin. Stiffens the whole building up real nice. But anyways…house looks pretty damn nice…doing a good job.
U serious about the price matching? I heard that a while back ago and ran it by my local dealers and they all looked at me like I was crazy…I dunno.
What are you using for air line from the compressor to the filters?
Geez some of the new cars these days have a finish like that bumper cover right from the factory…lol.
The clear I’m talking about is actual USC clear. But it looks to be the same as Morton and AM Tech. They make a Production, Universal, and Glamour. They’re all 4.2. So your spraying these identical clears or one that says “Morton” on the can? (even though they’re prob the same) Here’s a link… http://www.uschem.com/index.cfm?page=products&catid=19&pid=2
It appears the clears that USC sells are also the same and they are also priced very cheap. Maybe even cheaper than Morton? I thought I saw around $58 a kit for the USC. Moke you spray the glamour only? Ever try the universal or production?
