Is there temperature specific hardeners for that clear? And the painter that you speak of that painted 700 jobs sounds very experienced and there is no way a new painter using a new product to them will get the same results.
need to find out who sells that heated paint gun also. That will change the viscosity and the cotton glove will protect your hand from the heat.
Oh ya less air comtaminates, Transfer is better I here also , And no having to worry about pressure changes in the tank due to shop temp either.
yep same here don’t use the stupid cup I’m just like Andy, The stick method works for me. I also just follow the tech sheet less thinking on my part and I havent had any issues yet.
well sheet if thats what it takes for this very secretive Information to be etched in internetland forever here’s one more closer to 100 🙂
:welc Glad you could make it.
Boy Ding Do ya think they Understand your post?
Well you will need an air compressor $500-1500 air flter system $200-1000 paint gun $200-600 air sanders $150-250ea sandpaper in various grits in job packs would be around $50-100
then you need the primer, paint, reducer, clear and hardener.
This is a sheet ton different than painting with an aeresol can. but if you up to it then we are here to help
They do make turbine fed paint guns but I have no Experience with them, although I know spray tan places use them. I mean hey if I can spray the ole lady with it why not a car right?
did you see the tip on wearing cotton gloves while spraying? and your right about the cups . but whats a couple centistokes between friends.
Well….. Ryan , You forgot about the Elevation and Temperature deviations. And my sheets use a Ford Cup not a Zhan. But my sheets maybe older than yours :chair
:welc Glad to have you here
:cheers To you Grandpa Jack and
:hb To the lil one!
Just have them come to the shop and they will test for how much air you use, And then they will tell you what compressor you will need. That way your not guessing and will not be stabbing yourself in the foot for buying too small of a compressor.
